During the 2011-2012 Season, Marvin played for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and the Erie Bayhawks in the NBA Development League. Marvin proved that he was one of the best rebounders in the D-League and RBA believes he has the potential to be one of the best rebounders in the NBA. Marvin finished the 2010-11 season as the top rebounder in the NBADL at 16.5 rebounds per 48 minutes. He is always the hardest working player on his team and in addition to dominating the glass he has a knack for getting steals and drawing charges. Ft. Wayne Mad Ants President Jeff Potter said the following about Marvin: "Averaging nearly a double-double, Marv had a career year for the Mad Ants. Marv was one of the best rebounders in the league, and I have seen few players with such a great nose for the ball. Couple his ability to find the ball with a solid mid range jump shot, and he will succeed in any league. He is a wonderful person, and it was a joy to have him wear a Mad Ants uniform."
